This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your information when you access our Site and Services. By accessing or using our Site you agree to this Privacy Policy and our terms and conditions of use as described in our Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not understand or agree to our privacy practices as described in this Privacy Policy or to be bound by our Terms of Use, do not access or use the Site or Services.

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. You should therefore regularly check our Privacy Policy to review the current version, as your continued use of the  Site after any updated Privacy Policy has been posted constitutes acceptance of the amended  Privacy Policy. When we post an updated Privacy Policy to our Site, we will update the Effective  Date at the top of the page to show the most recent date of posting.


The following definitions apply in this Privacy Policy.

“you” and “your” means the person using or who wishes to use the Site.

“we,” “us” and “our” means Insurance Decision Technologies, Inc. doing business as HYKE and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and successors.

“Site” means and any mobile applications or similar devices, channels, sites, or applications operated by or on behalf of us.

“Services” means any materials, information, products, or services provided through the Site. INFORMATION COLLECTION

We may collect information from you in several ways, including when you choose to share information with us by entering it through our Site and by using automated processes.


We may ask you and you may choose to provide certain “Personal Information” to us, which may include information that identifies you personally, such as your name, your e-mail address,  your age, your date of birth, your family status, information about your insurance coverage and usage, and information about your finances.


When you submit information to us, you may provide us with information about third parties, such as members of your household. By submitting Personal Information about any third party, you represent and warrant to us that you have the consent of the third party to do so, and that the information you submit is factually accurate.


In addition to any information that you choose to submit to us via the Site, we and our third-party service providers may use a variety of technologies that automatically (or passively) store or collect certain information whenever you visit or interact with the Site (“Usage  Information”). This Usage Information may be stored or accessed using a variety of technologies that may be downloaded to your device whenever you visit or interact with our  Site. To the extent we associate Usage Information with your Personal Information, we collect directly from you on the Site, we will treat it as Personal Information.

This Usage Information may include:

  • your IP address, UDID, or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”). A Device Identifier  is a number that is automatically assigned to your device used to access the Site, and  our computers identify your device by its Device Identifier
  • your device functionality (including browser, operating system, hardware, and mobile  network information)
  • the URL that referred you to our Site
  • the areas within our Site that you visit and your activities there, including remembering  you and your preferences
  • your device location
  • your device characteristics
  • certain other device data, including the time of day, among other information. TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We may use various methods and technologies, including without limitation, cookies, web beacons, embedded scripts, browser fingerprinting, etag, recognition technologies, location-identifying technologies, and subsequent tracking technologies and methods later developed,  to store or collect Usage Information (“Tracking Technologies”). Tracking Technologies may set,  change, alter, or modify settings or configurations on your device.

A cookie (or “locally shared object”) is a data file placed on your device when you visit our Site.  Your browser, or other software, may allow you to reject or remove cookies, but if you do so,  some features of our Site or Service may not work properly, and we may not be able to remember your preferences the next time that you visit.


We may use third-party analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics). These services may track details about your online activities over time and across different sites. These services help us to improve our Site and Services. These services may also allow us and others to provide you with targeted advertisements or other content that you may be interested in based on your online activities. We may use the information that we collect from you to provide you with information that may be of interest to you, such as insurance offers, e-mail newsletters, special offers, or details regarding new products, services, or upcoming events. We may also use the information that we collect to enable you to use certain Site features, to provide Services, to set up and administer an account, to communicate with you, and as otherwise consented to by you. We may also use the information that we collect to customize your experience on the Site, to provide customer support, to enforce our Terms of Use or other legal rights or to comply with our legal obligations, and to provide you with content or advertisements that may be of interest to you.


We may share the information that we collect from you, including Personal Information, with third parties for a variety of purposes as appropriate. We may also share information where required by law or to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, subpoena, government request, or other legal process. We may also share information with third parties, including law enforcement, to protect this Site and to enforce our Terms of Use. We may provide certain parts of our Site in association with third parties, such as promotional partners. These “co-branded areas” will identify the third party. If you choose to use these co-branded areas, we may share your information with the identified third party, and that third party may also collect information from you, in addition to the information that we collect, as described above. Our Site may include links to third-party websites or other online services. We are not responsible for these other sites and services, and they may collect and use information about you. You should review the privacy policies for such third parties before using their sites or services to understand how they collect and use information.

You may choose to permit us to access your information from social media or other websites or applications, although you are under no obligation to do so. If you do permit us, we are authorized to access, use, and store that data. That information will be subject to the same controls and procedures as all other answers and information you provide to us.


Third parties may use tracking technologies in connection with our Site, which may include the collection of information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites.  This Privacy Policy does not apply to these third-party technologies because we may not control them and we are not responsible for them. Do Not Track is a technology that enables users to opt out of tracking websites they do not visit. Currently, we do not monitor or take any action concerning Do Not Track technology.


We use commercially reasonable and industry-standard security technologies and safeguards to protect the information that we collect and use. We also expect our third-party service providers and partners to protect information in the same manner. However, no data transmission over the Internet, mobile networks, wireless transmission, or electronic storage of information can be guaranteed 100% secure. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us.


We may provide marketing communications, and you may be able to change your preferences with respect to such communications through the Site. Please note that we reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to your account or use of our Site, such as administrative and service announcements and these transactional account messages may be unaffected if you choose to opt-out from receiving our marketing communications.


You may have certain statutory rights or contractual rights about your Personal  Information. That may include opt-out rights, rights to request access to information, and rights to rectify, update, delete, or correct information. We retain Personal Information by the terms of our Data Retention Policy. This enables us to use that information for our legitimate purposes including for regulatory or legal requirements (e.g. HIPAA). If we no longer need to retain this information then we may delete it or anonymize it.


Our Site is operated in the United States and data is stored in the United States. The privacy and data protection laws in the United States differ from those of other countries. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that the information that we collect will be transferred to and processed, stored, and used in the United States, and that by using our  Site, you consent to such transfers and processing.


Our Site and Services are intended for general audiences, and we do not knowingly seek or collect personal information from children under the age of eighteen (18).
